WISR PhD student, Che Kum Clement, who is head of the Department of Instructor Training and General Studies (ITS) at the Islamic University of Technology in Bangladesh has just been promoted to full Professor. The route to this achievement was well-earned, and indeed, he has published a book, 21 papers in reputed refereed
journals, 25 conference proceedings/seminars and has also guided 26 Master of Science in Technical Education theses. Also, Professor Clement reports that he just returned from a four days’ meeting in Iran of educators from members of the Organization of Islamic Conference, which consists of 57 member Islamic countries. At that meeting, he was appointed he was appointed a member of the newly created Monitoring and Advisory Committee (MAC) of the OIC Vocational Education and Training (OIC-VET) programme.
